Law of Attraction: What It ACTUALLY Means

I want a Lamborghini. Poof. There’s one in my driveway. Man, I love the law of attraction!!

There’s a lot of misconceptions out there about the law of attraction, so let’s take a few minutes and iron out the details of this idea.

What Is The Law Of Attraction?

The law of attraction is the idea that if you think about something, believe in something, or want something it will come to you. This can work both positively and negatively. Let’s play it out in both respects:

Positive

Let’s bring it back to the Lamborghini, because who doesn’t want one? If you envision you owning a Lamborghini, believe you deserve one, and act as if you have one, it will eventually be yours. You can’t go back and forth on this belief, you have to be all in. That Lamborghini is yours. If you believe differently, it won’t be.

Negatively

“Negative Nancy” personified. Let’s say you are hoping to find love, but fill your mind and soul with negative thoughts and feelings about the process. “I’m never going to find love.” “I’m not attractive enough.” “Who would want me?” The list goes on and on. Sending out those negative vibes ensures and reinforces that that kind of negativity will be reflected in your love life.

What it comes down to with the law of attraction is truly believing and owning either the positive vibes or the negative ones. BUT there are a lot of naysayers when it comes to the law of attraction because…

Life Isn’t A Disney Movie! You Can’t Just Wish Or Think Things Into Existence!

There are many people who don’t buy this idea. You can’t just make a vision board of all your hopes and dreams and just sit back and wait to be spoiled with riches. With that thought in mind, they’re right. But that’s not what the law of attraction is truly all about. People that see the law of attraction as just some wishing and dreaming are missing a very large part of the process.

Get To Work

The law of attraction IS NOT the make a wish foundation for adults. At it’s core, yes, it is about setting goals. That’s only the first half of it, though. After the goals and vision are set, you have to work like hell to make that vision come true. The vision boarding and goal setting is so important and a major focus of the law of attraction because it gets your mind set ready for what you deserve to accomplish. If your goal is to have a big house on the nice side of town, if you envision that happening, chances are you’re going to start working towards that incredible goal with some tenacity. Over time, the work that you put in starts to manufacture all of the goals and visions you started with in the beginning of the process. It all starts with putting yourself in the right mindset (remember this can work both positively and negatively, so if you think you don’t deserve that house, you won’t get there), then pushing forward with the inspiration required to accomplish what you set out to do.
So envision for the Lamborghini, the riches, or the big house. Just make sure you are willing to do the work to get you what you desire. Also, on the flip side, the more negative thoughts and beliefs you let into your life, the more negative things will present themselves.
