We have hit a fork in the road. Back when we started this blog and began to share our story of trying to lead a healthy lifestyle, we were all in on the concept of IIFYM, flexible dieting and tracking macros. We still love the concept of IIFYM, but found that in diving into improving ourselves through diet, nutrition, and exercise, we uncovered some more topics and points of discussion that we were passionate about. Macros, diet and fitness will still be a major theme of our blog, but we felt that if our blog was just about that, the scope would be a bit too narrow for our liking. With that said, moving forward you can expect to a variety of posts from us about…
Health and Fitness
Again, we still love health, fitness, and taking care of our bodies. We’re not personal trainers or nutritionists, but we have found the importance in treating your body well both in what you do to it and what you put into it.
In engrossing ourselves in health and fitness, we also branched out and started to read some books that aligned with improving ourselves and shifting our outlook of the world we live in. We look to share some insights that we have found through reading these books and practicing some of the helpful strategies that we uncovered.
We are far from relationship experts, but we feel that through trial and error in our own lives, we have learned how to create the amazing relationship between the two of us. Through sharing and interacting about relationships, we hope to help some of you find what we have been lucky enough to have found.
Anything and Everything in the name of Moving Past Mediocre
We have been inspired by others through our experiences and information that we have encountered, and we hope to do the same for you. A quote that we have grown to enjoy is:
“Nothing changes if nothing changes”
Our wish is that we can provide a spark for some that may need the motivation to change some things about their life. Whether it’s starting a diet, or getting out of your own self doubt and self hate, or walking away from an unhealthy relationship; we all need support and a push in the right direction. Let us be that push.
Let’s keep moving past mediocre.
